Micro Chroma 68
The Micro Chroma 68 is an evaluation and demonstration kit for the Motorola MC6847 video display generator (VDG) and demonstrates its use with a color television. The board includes a MC6808 microprocessor which is compatible with the MC6800 and a 2k ROM monitor named TV-BUG. A MC6846 Rom-IO-Timer chip is central to the board design and contains the TV-BUG monitor. The board features a parallel keyboard interface, and a Kansas City Standard cassette interface for saving programs . The board has an EXORciser bus interface for expansion. The MC6847 VDG controller was later used in the very popular Tandy Color Computer and many other computers and games.
